Hector knew what the doctors said, but he didn’t care. Words and phrases like “top heavy”, “evolution” and “fashion sense” were all well and good from a clinical point of view; but Hector had heart and that had to count for something, right? Each morning found Hector donning the sweater he made the night before and chasing after butterflies. If he flapped his arms enough (and if he had made the sweater just right), he would leave the ground for a few minutes at a time. By evening, the sweater was in tatters, but Hector had collected enough butterflies to make another.
The thing you can't see from the drawing is that the sweater is made from live butterflies. You can convince them to work together for a day, but at the end they get cranky and need to fly off by themselves again. (Believe me, you don't want to mess with a cranky butterfly.)
Cruelty comes in many forms. Beelzeflub here has crafted a nasty ability of smiling insects to death.
