You can click on the drawing for a bigger view. If you have a theory about this Monster, please post a comment below! I’m looking forward to your thoughts!
I see this monster as a University professor who is tenured. He is so lost in his subject that he isn’t aware of the reactions from the students behind him. He believes that anyone who takes his class must be in love with the subject and him. He has the prerequisite long beard for a philosophy professor, as he believes that it makes him look learned and he prattles on about his subject. I say he is tenured, because he doesn’t care about the reactions from the students, or trying to cater the lesson to the audience. This is his favorite subject and he is going to talk about it as long as he can. Love the site Stefan! Andrew.
And I love your story, Andrew! Thank you so much! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post a response. I love prattling professors! Much better than dithering doctors! And grousing grad students. Gawd!
i think this monster has a job as a university lecturer and specializes in teaching growling,moths,E.A.T,bio-biology and most importantly about the big bong (monsters have a different theory of the universe from us).judging by his clothes he teaches at monwarts school of monstery but i could be wrong
We have to interpret some of your drawings in my Visual Communication class..for this drawing my team came up with: This is Ophelia Pearl. She is a female dentist coming back from break. She went to have a manicure and she got infected by acetone, resulting in her beard. She is panicking because she is late to go back to work. Ophelia now thinks that it wasn’t a good idea to get a manicure. Love the site..Keep up the awesome artwork!!! =]
OK. Good start. Let me ask you some follow-up questions: Is she going to keep the beard? How do female Monsters feel about having a beard? Is he shaving it all off? Is she trimming it? Or being creative? How will it affect her work as a dentist? Who else works in the practice with Ophelia? How did she get into dentistry? Considering the wide range of Monsters, how would her office look different from a human dentist's office? (For starters? :^)

With a gilded tongue that could only belong to a famous opera singer, Mildred belts out notes that only Monsters can hear and truly appreciate.
