MEET THE SAKS YETI
Good afternoon! How are you? I’d like to introduce you to a new friend of mine. We met in my sketchbook back in April, and we’ve been working together ever since. He’s friendly, he’s furry, and rumor has it that his family lives on the roof of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, making snow. If you’d like to have one of your own, click here.

As you can see, he’s kinda shy, but just scratch his back or under his arms, and he’ll be your friend for life. Also, if you meet his fraternal twin, he’s a lot more outgoing:

Reminds me (in a good way) of the Abominal Snowman in the live-action holiday classic, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. Wonderful!
Recently, Yetis have been spotted at the Getty. Yes, it is true. They have found silk threads and Sak’s footprints in the gravel around the circular garden. I suspect we are in for an extra cold winter–at least on the Westside.

Well, Abominable is abdominant. He’s got a big old six-pack and muscles and stuff. The yeti is much softer of body and of heart.
I just had my picture taken with the 5.10″ Yeti at the flagship store, and bought my own to take home. Absolutely love him! Maybe he will bring me some holiday snow…
Yeti enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Bacara in Santa Barbara this past weekend. Have pics of him briefly posing by the fireplace, then enjoying the peace & serenity of his suite reading Steve Jobs biography.

I saw the giant yeti at the store( on 5th avenue ) on saturday after spotting some in the Saks window displays. I ordered on online after falling in love with it, I am very excited for his arrival, which is supposed to be on the twenty third, just in time to make snow for christmas!
