DAILY MONSTER 157
Good morning. Thank you for visiting on a Sunday! That’s mighty nice of you.
I’ve got one of my favorite monsters waiting for you today. But first, please
take a look at yesterday’s stories. The leisurely pace of a Saturday let flower
some truly fabulous stories:
And now… the Academy Award goes to… Monster 157.
(This is Monster 157’s 157th nomination, and first win.)
What’s the story with 157? Did he actually win an Oscar? Is he on the run? Is he trying to sneak around where he’s not supposed to be? If you can squeeze it in between “Best Supporting Actor” and “Best Original Screenplay” I hope that you’ll…
Have a celebutastic night and a lovely Sunday in general.
Please remember that even if the Oscars may have snubbed you
again this year, 344 LOVES YOU
Gorge was no stranger to the perils of stardom. He kept a watchful eye on the end of the alley, motioning his fellow monstars into the waiting limo.
Jaws, Maul and Ringer shot out the stage door and into the car. They clutched their Best Actor Oscars close to their furry bodies.
Gorge hopped in beside them. “Well, we did it now, didn’t we?”
“Yeah,” said Jaws. “Magical Monstery Tour was bound to be a winner, eh Maul?”
“Mmmm…” Maul mumbled, crunching; the taste of fame already halfway down his throat.
Gorge licked his Oscar contentedly, scraping a layer of cool, refreshing metal into his mouth. He’d learned three statuettes ago that there was no chewy center inside the head.
Sie ist ein Model und sie sieht gut aus… *summ*
Yep, he is trying to sneak around but not for the reasons one might suspect.
See, this fellow did indeed win an award, but he really doesn’t like the limelight, the fuss and the media interviews which follow.
So he is attempting to sneak away backstage to avoid the press.
Lance is a shoe whore, plain and simple. He’s carefully tiptoeing around town to avoid scuffing his Louboutin’s.
Great, as allways! Love the shoes!!
Marjan Pejoski’s design for Björk’s next Oscar dress (aka monster 157) if she ever gets nominated again is draped over an ottoman.
We wish it luck.
wow, these red shoes, these belly bottom jeans. a real female one, and how she’s walking around… she’s on the run because she has stolen the oscar for best sceenplay.
why she did that…? now she can play with her screen.
but what about these stretched arms? the long fingers that’s clear enough … maybe she has to strech her arms to not loose her balance, because the oscar is so heavy.
Miffit posed haughtily in front of her sister’s full-length mirror, flipping the feather boa and exclaiming something about martinis with the boys after tennis in her squeaky six-year-old voice. Her older sister’s shoes sloshed around on her dinky feet, and their early-afternoon combination of pajama pants made the scene one of purely unappreciated fashion in the field.
A door closed downstairs and the questioning greeting statement of her sister rang in her ears with the piling of her sister’s keys onto the foyer table snapped her at full-alert.
She wasn’t supposed to be in her sister’s room AT ALL. The fear yanked the memories forward of not a week ago when she had obliterated her sister’s favorite lipstick on the carpet on accident, and death threats were made if room breaching occurred but once more…
She awkwardly pivoted herself in the incriminating shoes from the door to her room as she heard her sister’s telltale trod up the steps.
No one likes a tooth ache, i mean lets face it there down right painful and what do you do when you have a ache of the tooth? you go see the dentist, well what happens when every time you make an appointment over the phone then go in to get your work done the dentist either faints or cowers and runs away. Welcome to the world of Roger, monster by profession, but a singer at heart. every night Roger goes to the local open mic club where he meets his other monster friends. but lately Roger hasn’t been singing due to his tooth issue. Poor Roger Tylenol can only go so far in helping the pain in those k-9’s. If anyone knows a dental specialist in the area please tell him, just look at those eyes, how can you resist?
What you’re doing is awesome. I remember doing similar things when I was a kid; drawing my own characters/monsters from my imagination (not quite as well as your doing, and obviously with out the speed animation thingy your doing).
One HUGE Problem: The google ads are blocking my view. I got to enjoy one video but the google ads are getting in the way of the rest of them and there’s no ‘x’ to close the add. Got any suggestions?
Thanks for creating this website. It’s great to let the imagination fly (there’s wisdom in learning how to work your way back to becoming “child-like”).
Peace
