With legs so short and only three to keep him steady, Mobley was anxious but giddy at the thought of riding a broom for the first time. He approached the broom with a fake smile, hoping the broom wouldn’t notice his fear and balanced himself as steady as he could. He sure was worried. Mobley thought it would be nicer to have longer arms to steady himself just in case. Mobley side-stepped onto the broom and they were off into the silhouette of the full moon. Mobley grinned with relief. He was surprised that he caught on to flying as fast as he did, maybe he was part witch and part monster…. So he winked to the witch whose broom he stole with a happy monster heart.
